Embryos!

I thought I would do a little embryo update. Originally in my Ultrasound they thought we had 12 mature eggs. Extracted: 7 eggs Mature: 6 eggs Fertilized: 6 eggs Embryos - Day 3: 4 Good+2 Fair Day 5: 4 Healthy frozen, 2 dying Day 6: 1 died, 1 hatched Total: 5 Frozen Embryo-Babies!! (UPDATED) Only 2 Genetically Normal Were were really surprised and happy that our one fair embryo which wasn't making progress was able to hatch and make in into the frozen batch. They were all biopsied (Which also went smoothly) the biopsy slides are now being mailed to the east coast to see if they are viable and test the genetic of them. Embryos at this point have their own genetic code and have develop their own characteristics such as gender. 5 might sound like a lot to someone, however most will still be eliminated due to DNA issues my eggs have. We are praying for at least 2 to make it so that we can try to get pregnant but we won't know much for a couple weeks about the embryos heath and then from their we still have to get pregnant. We have a lot of questions if "IVF is working" but we won't know until middle of March now since things got pushed back a little.
