Today was Taylors turn to go get every single thing checked at the clinic today! He got it easier then me they took way less blood - however he HATES needles. Me, well I don't have the option even if I wanted to since I do so many now it seams like nothing. Awhile back I was chatting with a girl who had done IVF in the past and she told me about COQ10 a vitamin that increases sperm and health of your eggs. One vitamin that helps us both - done! I take a bunch of vitamins to help my reproductive health and health in general and so does Taylor. So after each IUI they come and tell you what your count is and if its poor/normal/good. We luckily are always in the normal range but room to improve. So we both started taking COQ10. We had a disagreement about what number the nurse said at our last IUI so today we found the guy in the lab and made him print off all our IUI numbers so we could compare. IUI Before Vitamin - 11 Million IUI After Vitamin - 41 Million I had heard 14 Million and thought that was a good increase and Taylor kept telling me it was 40 I thought he was out of his mind. So today we settled the score and he WON! He schooled me. But we started cheering and jumping up and down, did a pretty over exaggerated fist bump cause guys thats a HUGE improvement from 1 little change in his diet. Blows my mind we didn't get pregnant but those issue reside with me so thats all right, but were glad he is in tip top shape. I share this for two reasons - keep it fun! Infertility SUCKS, its just terrible but somehow every single appointment we do without Mae feels like a little date. We make stupid jokes, laugh, giggle and it always leaves my heart warm. We are in this together and so glad we have been so strengthened. So try and make it fun, bet against your odds, find someway to make it less depressing. The waiting room at the clinic is so somber, every couple usually looks exhausted and sad - as were trying to keep it down in the corner whisper and teasing each other. Just brings me so much joy that we somehow still have fire left inside us after everything. Second reason - there are things you can do to help the odds with getting pregnant! We luckily have access to high grade vitamins through our own business so I'll leave the link below if anyone wants to put them to the fertility test. I also suggest Vitamin D, Folic Acid, and the Women's Pack from the same company. They have a men's pack for hubbies too.
